Renewable energy contractor seeking a Solar Project Manager to deliver commercial Solar PV, battery storage and EV charging installations.

Overview
Our client, a renewable energy installation contractor, is seeking a Solar Project Manager to manage commercial Solar PV and decarbonisation contracts across multiple sectors, from survey and pricing through to installation and commissioning. Our client is recruiting on a confidential basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing renewable energy installation contracts across multiple sectors
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, project teams and subcontractors
- Overseeing installations, surveys, material take-offs and pricing
- Scheduling direct labour and subcontractors
- Coordinating deliveries to multiple sites
- Assisting with design, estimating and procurement activities
- Preparing health & safety documentation (RAMS)
- Managing project revenue forecasting and variations
- Liaising with design teams and resolving installation defects
- Training and mentoring apprentices and trainees
- Supporting commissioning activities when required
Requirements
- Proven delivery of renewable energy projects, particularly commercial Solar PV
- Electrical background with relevant qualifications (such as NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
- Knowledge of battery storage, EV charging and decarbonisation technologies
- Experience managing subcontractors and multiple live projects
- Strong understanding of site health & safety requirements
- SMSTS, IOSH or similar site safety certification preferred
