Overview
Established family-owned main contractor seeking a Construction Director to lead the strategic and operational delivery of its regional General Construction portfolio, from conception through to completion. Our client is recruiting on a confidential basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the regional construction strategy for safe, profitable, high-quality delivery
- Full accountability for operational governance, SHEQ, risk and commercial performance
- Lead senior project reviews, reporting and CVRs
- Coordinate commercial, planning, design, building services and pre-construction teams
- Build client, consultant and supply chain relationships
- Oversee resourcing, talent development and succession planning
- Support pre-construction, tenders and business development
- Deputise for the Operations Director
Requirements
- Proven senior leadership within a main contracting environment
- Extensive large-scale General Construction delivery experience
- Strong commercial and contractual awareness with profitability management
- Track record leading high-performing regional operational teams
- Strong SHEQ leadership and stakeholder management
Package
